What is EPS-TOPIK?

EPS-TOPIK (Test of Proficiency in Korean for the Employment Permit System) is the Korean-language test HRD Korea uses to screen candidates applying for an E-9 employment visa. It's separate from general TOPIK, and focuses on practical, workplace Korean rather than academic topics — safety instructions, supervisor directions, and everyday workplace communication.

Nepal is one of the EPS program's partner countries, alongside Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, and others. Candidates who pass are added to a worker roster that Korean employers review when hiring — it's a competitive process, and Master Korean exists to help you prepare for the language part of it.
